Ahmad Faiz Ahmad Shahrudin, 40, a Malaysian, is an Alternate Director to Mohd Irwan Ahmad Mustafa. He was appointed on 23 August 2023
He is currently the Vice President of Strategic Investments at Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) and has over 16 years of invaluable experience within the organisation. His primary responsibilities at PNB involves overseeing investments in the Plantation and Banking sectors.
In his professional journey at PNB, Ahmad Faiz has taken on various roles, including Managerial positions in the Corporate Services Department, the Office of the President & Group Chief Executive (PGCE), and Public Equity. He has provided crucial support to the PGCE while managing the public equity portfolio of PNB. Ahmad Faiz has also served as an Assistant Vice President in Public Equity and Strategic Investments.
Ahmad Faiz holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham and is a qualified member of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
