Tunku Alizakri Raja Muhammad Alias, 52, a Malaysian, is a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director. He was appointed to the Board on 1 January 2020.
Tunku Alizakri brings close to 30 years’ experience at senior management and board level roles in multiple sectors and industries covering retirement fund, financial industry, central banking, social security, healthcare, media and telecommunications, property development, plantations, and Oil & Gas.
He was as the Chief Executive Officer of the Employees Provident Fund of Malaysia, a post he held from 2014 to 2021.
Tunku Alizakri has also held the positions of Director of Strategic Management at Bank Negara Malaysia, Director and Head of Strategy and Corporate Affairs at DiGi Telecommunications Berhad, and Vice-President and Head of Group Strategic Planning at Malayan Banking Berhad. He is currently a Board Member of IHH Healthcare Berhad, Bumi Armada Berhad, Malaysia Aviation Berhad, Malaysia Airlines Berhad, Prudential BSN Takaful Berhad and Malaysia Venture Capital Management Berhad. His previous roles included Chairman of Kwasa Utama Sdn Bhd and Board Member of Astro Malaysia Holding Berhad, Battersea Project Holding Company Limited and Battersea Project Land Company Limited. He was also Vice-Chairperson of the Technical Commission on Organisation, Management and Innovation for International Social Security Association and the Deputy Secretary General of the Asean

Tunku Alizakri holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Law (LLB) from King's College, University of London. He has practised as an advocate and solicitor in the courts of Malaysia and is qualified as a Barrister (Lincoln's Inn) in the courts of England and Wales.
