Dato’ Mohd Nizam Zainordin, 59, a Malaysian, is a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director. He was appointed to the Board on 14 July 2017.
Dato’ Mohd Nizam obtained his Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom qualification in 1989 and an Executive Masters in Business Administration from Asian Institute of Management in 1999. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom since 1993, a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants since 1996 and a Certified Financial Planner since 2002.
Dato’ Mohd Nizam has over 29 years of experience in the finance sector. He joined Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) in 1994. Dato’ Mohd Nizam held various positions in PNB including Vice President and Senior Vice President. He was appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of PNB in 2010 and Group CFO of PNB in 2014 before assuming the position of Deputy President and Group CFO of PNB. He held the position up to his retirement from PNB on 31 December 2023.
Dato’ Mohd Nizam holds directorships in several subsidiaries within the PNB Group of Companies, all of which are unlisted. He is a Director of Pengurusan Pelaburan ASN Berhad and Securities Industry Dispute Resolution Center.
